Some Baker Prairie students and the guests they were hosting from South Korea met Governor Kate Brown as they were visiting the state capitol on Friday, Jan .18.
The students and guests were on a field trip that day as a part of the Korean Exchange program at Baker Prairie, stopping first at the state capitol before moving on to the Woodburn Company Stores.
They were in a hallway during their capitol tour, and they just happened to run into Brown.
Brown took a moment to stop and chat with the students.
"Well, have a great time, and enjoy your visit," Brown said. "Welcome to all our visitors."
