Michelle Nelson-Schmidt will stop by the Canby Public Library to talk about her work and experiences

The Canby Public Library has a full slate of events planned for March. Here's a look at some of what's on tap.

March 7 at 6:30 p.m.

Author and illustrator Michelle Nelson-Schmidt is the creator of beloved children's books such as the "Whatif Monster," "Bob is a Unicorn," "Cordelia," and "Jonathan James," to name a few. She will share her art work and the stories behind her characters.

Nelson-Schmidt is a motivational speaker for children and adults and she will highlight her messages of determination, overcoming fears, and believing in yourself.
