The Annual Old Aurora Colony Museum's Quilt Show will run from Oct. 11-20 with this year's them, 'Rhapsody in Blue'

The Old Aurora Colony Museum's 47th annual Quilt Show will run Oct. 11-20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. This year's theme is "Rhapsody in Blue," which will include some quilts that are predominantly blue or that feature musical themes.

The museum will be covered in quilts during the event. Debbie Miller and Peggy Gelbrich will be the featured quilters. Visit with them for a while in the Kraus House, where there will also be some vintage quilts for sale.

These were donated to the museum for fundraising purposes by Charlotte Wirfs of Jacksonville. Then step into the Steinbach Log Cabin for a cup of coffee or some apple cider, nibble a cookie, and check out the Colony Store.
