Nearly 18,000 humans live in Canby, the U.S. Census Bureau estimates. That's 18,000 unique personalities and a plethora of traditions and cultures.

Baker Prairie Middle School is inviting the community to celebrate this diversity at a Culture Night on Wednesday, Jan. 22 from 6-8 p.m.

The free event will boast many different booths with displays as well as food and drink samples, a variety of performers, a raffle and more, according to Baker Prairie's cultural team. Most importantly, it will give attendees the chance to learn about the various cultures represented in the community.

Those interested in sharing about their culture at the event should contact Amy Marsh at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
