Oregon Gov. Kate Brown has mandated that all Oregonians wear face coverings in public spaces to help prevent further spread of COVID-19. Clackamas County Commissioners too have urged the public to wear face coverings in public. But the commissioners want to talk about it.

The commissioners will continue their digital listening session series from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, on the topic of "Masks and Personal Freedom."

According to a news release from the county, residents in opposition to the governor's order have claimed that it infringes upon personal freedom and liberties. The commissioners want to know: What do residents think about this requirement?

Both Chairman Jim Bernard and Commissioner Ken Humberston will be available at the online event.
