Fisher's Supply wins snowman contest
Canby's downtown 2020 Snowman Contest has come to a close, and the winners have been announced.
Shannon Allee of Hot Rod Dreamworks, which puts on the contest, announced on Monday, Jan. 4, that voters gave first place to Fisher's Supply, Inc. with their snow-globe-inspired "Jackie Frost" snowman.
Second place went to Better Homes & Garden's Realty Partners for their "Betty & Homer" display of two big and three small snowmen.
Third place went to the Moms Club of Canby with their "Cousin Eddie" snowman.
Finally, Hot Rod's pick went to Menk Machinery with their "Tym the Tractor" snowman.
The annual contest gives businesses and organizations a chance to gain some visibility downtown through the creation of a snowman for people to see in person or online.
The contest was made possible by sponsors Hot Rod Dreamworks, Canby Graphics, LPL Financial – Clint Coleman, Country Side Living, Tater's Scrap Metal & Hauling and Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center.
