City of Canby opens to public
The city of Canby plans to reopen all city facilities to the public on April 5.
City departments will have amended open hours to accommodate citizens or those doing business in Canby, while also following COVID-19 guidelines.
All COVID-19 guidelines remain in place during the reopening of city facilities, including mandatory mask wearing and physical distancing. Masks are available upon request.
Hours of operation are listed below. Appointments are encouraged to ensure city staff availability and shorten wait times.
City Hall/Civic Center (503-266-4021): Open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Planning and Economic Development (503-266-7001): Open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Police Department (503-266-1104): Open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Public Works Office (503-266-7238): Open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
CAT/Transit Offices (503-266-4022): Open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Canby Public Library (503-266-3394): Open 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
Swim Center/Pool (503-266-2761): Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 6 to 9 a.m. Lane Reservation; 9 to 10 a.m. Water Exercise Class (reservation required); 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Lane Reservation; 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Canby High School Preseason; 3:30 to 8 p.m. Canby Gators. Tuesday and Thursday: 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Lane Reservation; 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Canby High School Preseason; 3:30 to 8 p.m. Canby Gators.
Hours of operation are dependent upon orders from Gov. Kate Brown regarding COVID-19 and the current risk assessment levels, and these are subject to change. Over time, the city of Canby plans to expand its hours and services.
