One arrested, two sent to hospital in rural crash
Two people were transported to hospitals and one was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants following a crash near Canby on Tuesday, March 30.
Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Canby Fire and Clackamas Fire responded at about 3 p.m. to the crash scene at Central Point and New Era, between Canby and Oregon City.
Canby Fire transported two occupants from one vehicle to an area hospital because of their injuries.
According to CCSO, the driver of the second vehicle appeared to be intoxicated. A deputy investigated further and placed him under arrest for DUII.
Vehicles were able to maneuver through the intersection, police said, but were delayed a bit until tow trucks were able to move the damaged vehicles.
