Reopening of facilities planned to coincide with the first day of summer, June 21

The city of Canby is planning to reopen facilities to the public on the first day of summer, June 21.

The facilities will open on a modified scheduled to start and will open fully as guidelines change and restrictions are reduced or lifted, according to a city news release.

For city of Canby staff and visitors, the current Oregon Health Authority guidance will be applied based on Clackamas County's COVID-19 risk level June 21.

Presently, Clackamas County is in the high-risk category with 131.5 cases per 100,000 over the two weeks ending June 5 and 61.9% of eligible residents vaccinated as of June 2. The risk level could move down to moderate if cases dip below 100, or it could move down to low once 65% of eligible residents have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

Hours of operation for various facilities are as follows.

  • 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday

  • Planning and Economic Development (503-266-7001):
  • 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday

  • Canby Municipal Court (503-266-4027):
  • 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday

  • Police Department (503-266-1104):
  • 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday

  • CAT/Transit Offices (503-266-4022):
  • 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday -Friday

  • Public Works Office (503-266-7238):
  • 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday

  • Canby Public Library (503-266-3394):
  • 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday-Saturday; closed Sundays. There are no library programs scheduled at this time.

  • Swim Center/Pool (503-266-2761):
  • Lane reservations available 6 a.m.3 p.m. Monday-Friday; water exercise class from 9-10 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Reservation required. Schedule to change in the coming weeks for summer hours.
