Clackamas County resident named Miss Rodeo Oregon Sweetheart
On June 26, 8-year-old Dalaney Hope Coppage of Beavercreek was crowned Miss Rodeo Oregon Sweetheart at a pageant in Tillamook, where she participated in the dairy parade and was crowned in the arena during the Tillamook County Rodeo.
Dalaney, who lives just outside Oregon City limits, will participate in the Clackamas County Rodeo, Aug. 17-21. Dalaney has been riding since the age of 4, and loves her Appaloosa-colored American pony, Diesel.
Dalaney looks forward to becoming active in OSU Extension's 4-H program next year. In addition to riding horses, her other hobbies include fishing and running. She wants to be a professional singer when she grows up.
