Local groups hold 28th annual Molalla River Cleanup and Enhancement at Feyrer Park.

Fall swim starts Sept. 20

Fall programs began Sept. 20 at the Molalla Aquatic Center, with lap swim times and water fitness classes. Go online ( for the full schedule and to make reservations.

MAD board meets in September

The Molalla Aquatic District board of directors will meet in person at the Molalla Aquatic Center at 7 p.m. Sept. 28. The meeting will also be available virtually. To join online via Google Meet, visit the event page on Topics at the meeting will include an aquatic director's update and a financial review. The meetings are open to the public.

Local groups host Molalla River Cleanup

The 28th annual fall Molalla River Cleanup & Enhancement will take place beginning at 9 a.m. Oct. 2 at Feyrer Park. Those interested should bring gloves, water and a snack, and wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Volunteers will disperse to the Molalla River Corridor and other public access areas for river cleanup and trail work.

Return to Feyrer Park for a volunteer appreciation bbq in the afternoon (if COVID restrictions allow).
