A look at letters to the editor for the March 23 Herald-Pioneer edition: fundraising success

KC Charities offers thanks for fundraising success

Canby KC Charities, in conjunction with the St. Patrick's Knights of Columbus council, held its 25th annual crab dinner and charity auction Feb. 26. The event was a great success, and the Knights would like to express our appreciation to the Canby community for their continued support. The Herald-Pioneer.

This year's event helped a Canby family who lost their home to a fire days before Thanksgiving. With financial support from the Canby community, $14,000 was raised to help the family start getting their lives back on track.

The Knights would like to thank all the individuals and businesses who supported this event and provided the means to help with our charitable giving. This is truly an amazing community and the outpouring of support the last 25 years has been an amazing thing to be a part of.

The Canby Knights of Columbus graciously thanks you all,

Mike Schmader
