Monday, August 21
11:12 a.m., vehicle tagged to be towed for city ordinance violation, SE Township Road/Locust Street.
9:27p.m., woman reported leaving her wallet in the restroom of a local restaurant. An employee of the restaurant found the wallet. The wallet is now being lodged at the Aurora Police Department for safe keeping.
Tuesday, August 22
9:14 a.m., a citizen reported that sometime between 8/18 and 8/22 unknown person(s) attempted to syphon gas from a vehicle parked in a business parking lot, NW Third Avenue.
10:00 p.m., a man reported five teenagers were at his neighbor's house, 600-block of SE Fifth Avenue, looking in windows and later inside the house. The suspects fled after the neighbor confronted them and police contacted the out-of-town homeowner to discuss/inform them and attempt to identify the teens.
Wednesday August 23
10:59 a.m.wallet found in the parking lot of a business and turned into the police department. The owner was contacted and stated money was missing. No additional suspect information at this time.
12:40 p.m., during a routine traffic stop, the driver refused to provide identification, or answer the officer's questions to determine identification. Atlay Fazqez-Martinez, 21, of Canby, was arrested for misdemeanor interfering with a Canby police officer and cited for driving while suspended and no operator's license.
12:57 p.m., woman reports theft of two rings from her home by unknown suspect(s), address not provided.
Thursday, August 24
2:47 a.m., during a routine traffic stop, a juvenile was cited for curfew violation and a minor in possession-alcohol and marijuana, S. Locust Street/SE Second Avenue.
6:19 a.m. resident reported theft of head phones, money, a credit card, and clothing from the trunk of his vehicle, 21500-block of NE 19th Loop. Later that day, a man flagged down an officer to report finding a bank card, driver's license and various papers along Molalla Forest Road that were later identified and returned to the earlier victim.
7:13 a.m., during a traffic stop, a woman claimed she had insurance under a friend's name although she could not show proof and had been cited the previous day for the same violation. A call to her alleged insurance company confirmed she did not have current insurance; a citation was issued for no operator's license and for giving false information to police officers, a misdemeanor crime.
10:31 a.m., vehicle tagged for two city ordinance violations, 2600-block of S Elm Street.
11:11 a.m., vehicle with attached trailer tagged to be towed for volation of city ordinance, 400-block of SW Fourth Avenue.
5:01 p.m., personal papers found in an alley, 400-block of NW Third Avenue, turned into police.
8:21 p.m., Margo A. Welch-Boone,54, of Canby, was arrested on Clackamas County Circut Court warrants for prior possession of a controlled substance charge-methamphetamine, and new charges for tampering with physical evidence and possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine.
11:10 p.m., offcer flagged down, citizens reported theft of a grey mountain bike from a residence, 300-block of S. Locust Street.
Friday, August 25
1:12 p.m., a man called police to say his son was out walking and a $20 bill flew out the window of a passing car. The driver of the vehicle reportedly told the boy to "keep it.' Upon closer inspection of the $20 bill by the father and son it becane apparent that the bill was fraudulant. They confiscated it and turned it into Canby police's property-evidence department.
3:08 p.m., hit and run reported in the parking lot of a business, 1400-block of SE First Avenue.
5:00 p.m., relative reported an elderly man missing who was later contacted by traffic officers, who returned the man home.
10:19 p.m., officers responded to a domestic disturbance call amd transported an individual to a local facility for medical treatment.
Saturday, August 26
1:34 a.m., Alcindo Poldio-Gonalez, 26, of Portland, arrested for possession of a controlled substance-cocaine and PCS-methamphetamine, S. Highway 99E/S. Haines Road.
3:01 p.m., a citizen turned in a laptop, a computer case and a cell phone found on a bench at Maple Street Park. A message was left at the park with the possible owner to claim the items, which currenty remain at the police station for safekeeping.
4:50 p.m., officers find piles of garbage bags, carpet and a broken windshield dumped in the bushes and trees of a city parking lot, 200-block of NE Second Avenue. Video of the premises is being reviewed for a suspect for the crime.
4:58 p.m., officers were dispatched to investigate reports of verbal disturbances involving a couple moving to the premises, 400-block SW Forth Avenue.
9:31 p.m., officers responded to a report of a possible probation violation due to a prohibation contact through texts, NW Eighth Way,
Sunday, August 27
12:22 a.m. two teenagers out after curfew in the Echo Park area were taken into custody by officers and released to their parents,
7:56 p.m. officer dispatched to report of a suspicious person yeling at cars and harassing pedestrians. Suspect was contacted and later transported to a medical facility.
10:22 p..m, Alberto-Garibay-Tello, of Canby, arrestd for DUII, 800-block of N. Pine Street.
During a traffic sttop, an officer discovered a Honda vehice's plate were stolen and actually registered to an Acura. During an inquiry into the Honda's VIN number, it was relvealed that the car had been reported stolen by Gresham Police. She said she recently purchased the car for $2,000 from her supervisor and after investigation the officer concluded she had not knowingly purchased the stolen vehicle. Vehicle was impounded for return to the original owner/reporting party.
