Some remarkable performances from Canby High wrestlers and swimmers highlight this week's talk.

Canby Herald sports editor Derek Wiley led a spirited discussion of Canby sports during this edition of the Canby Vibe Sports Talk podcast.

Joined as always by editor John Baker, assistant editor Kristen Wohlers, and reporter Carol Rosen, Wiley discussed the past week's sports scene in Canby, highlighting some remarkable performances by Canby High wrestlers and swimmers at their respective district meets.

State wrestling will be the weekend of Feb. 28 and 29 at Memorial Coliseum in Portland and Canby will have eight representatives at the meet. The swim team will have four relays and some individual events covered at its state meet, which is this weekend at Tualatin Hills Aquatic Center in Beaverton.

Both basketball programs are fighting for playoff spots as they head into the final week-plus of their regular season.
