The crew talks boys and girls basketball, the upcoming state wrestling tournament and the newly-released football schedule

Canby Herald sports editor Derek Wiley had plenty to offer in this week's episode, discussing the boys basketball team's struggle against Lake Oswego the night before, as well as their prospects for post-season play. He noted the girls team finishes up its regular season on Friday against St. Mary's and has a chance to host an opening-round playoff game.

Wiley also pointed to this weekend's state wrestling tournament on Friday and Saturday at Memorial Coliseum in Portland, noting that a couple of Canby wrestlers have earned seeds to the tournament, as well as another name to keep an eye on.

Finally, the staff delved into the 2020 Canby High football schedule, which was recently released. The Cougars will play a league schedule that will finish on the road at Wilsonville. For non-league action, they will take on Dallas and perennial 5A power West Albany.
