Sullivan wins spring season shooting, Canby and Molalla win team shooting titles for spring season

The shooting has been good for local members of the Oregon State High School Clay Target League. Shooters from Molalla and Canby High School participated in the 2022 spring season. The Herald-Pioneer. Maison Sorenson was second in female season average at 23.3 in 2A Conference 1. The Molalla High School team captured the team championship with 14,242 points over the five shooting sessions of the spring campaign. Canby's shooting squad had a big spring season with the top three female season averages from Rylie Sullivan (1st, 21.2), Hollie Lopez (2nd, 20.4) and Hailey McClaugherty (3rd, 19.2). The Herald-Pioneer. The boys team got a second from Brandon Slater (23.7) and third from Ayden Griesenauer at 23.1. On the team side, the Cougars captured the 2A Conference 2 title with 11,833 points overall.
