It was a meandering journey through a host of fun and interesting topics.

Herald staff members John Baker, Kristen Wohlers, Carol Rosen and Derek Wiley talk about the fun and success of a pair of Canby men who grow unique dahlias. So unique, in fact, that they are both multiple award winners from a national organization.

From there, the conversation shifted to a unique program that touches a lot of hearts through its generosity, the Share the Love program in Molalla. The staff discussed the "better angels" aspect of the program and how important these types of efforts are to communities.

And with that, members of the Herald segued into a host of educational topics, including Canby High's graduation rates, as well as what's going on at Clackamas Community College, and the impact that school has on the local area.
