The two Prineville women face drug charges in connection with recent thefts and burglaries

PRINEVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT - Ashley LunaTwo Prineville women were arrested Thursday on drug charges in connection with recent thefts.

At 11:29 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, Prineville Police Department with the assistance of Crook County Sheriff's Office and the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at 205 Lynn Blvd. in Prineville, reported Capt. Larry Seymour. The search warrant was related to the recent thefts and burglaries that have occurred over the last few weeks. The search warrant was for stolen property and controlled substances.

Following the service of the search warrant, Ashley Luna, 28, and Sheila Morrissette, 36, both of Prineville, were arrested.

Luna was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, frequenting a place where controlled substances are used, and theft by receiving. Morrissette was charged with frequenting a place where controlled substances are used. 

PRINEVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT - Sheila MorrissetteBoth were booked in the Crook County Jail and then matrixed due to jail population.

Prineville Police Department seized various items but are still in the process of meeting with all of the recent theft and burglary victims to positively identify property.

Seymour said nothing further will be released on this search warrant. PPD is still conducting follow-up on several cases related to this search warrant and past thefts.
