Prineville man arrested, facing sex abuse charges
A Prineville man was arrested Thursday morning and faces multiple sex abuse charges from an alleged incident earlier this month.
According to Crook County Undersheriff James Savage, Sheriff's Office personnel were contacted last week by a female who reported she was assaulted by a man later identified as 40-year-old Timothy Neil Evans, of Prineville.
Information from a subsequent investigation prompted deputies to obtain a search warrant for his Northwest Vista View residence and a neighboring home on Northwest Mint Lane.
On Thursday morning, shortly after 7 a.m., Crook County deputies executed the search warrants with assistance from Prineville Police Department and Redmond Police Department.
While executing the search warrants, Evans was arrested and charged with first-degree rape, first-degree unlawful penetration, first-degree sex abuse and no bail warrant for probation violation. His bail for this new charges is set at $250,000.
