Kiahnna Saunders was driving in excess of 100 miles per hour on O'Neil Highway when she took a corner to fast and crashed

A Prineville woman was injured and received a criminal citation for reckless driving following a rollover crash on O'Neil Highway Thursday evening.

According to Oregon State Police reports, 20-year-old Kiahnna Marie Saunders was driving westbound near milepost 9 when she passed Officer Michael Hansen at a speed of 104 miles per hour. She reportedly tried to turn the corner too fast, lost control of her vehicle, which rolled and came to rest on its side.

Saunders was found in the vehicle unconscious with visible injures. AirLink was called to the scene. Meanwhile, she regained consciousness and was able to exit the vehicle.

Saunders was transported by AirLink to St. Charles Bend with non-life threatening injuries. She was cited for driving while suspended and received a criminal citation for reckless driving.
