Theodore Ernest Jokinen was pulled over after running a stop sign and authorities found weapons and drugs in his possession

CROOK COUNTY JAIL - Theodore Ernest JokinenA driver in northeast Prineville who failed to stop at a traffic stop was later arrested for multiple drug and weapon offenses Friday evening.

A Crook County deputy stopped Theodore Ernest Jokinen for running a stop sign on Northeast Third Street near Gardner Street. During the traffic stop, Sgt. Mitch Madden deployed Crook County Sheriff's Office Drug detection K9 Jett. Jett alerted to the presence of a controlled substance, and a subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, two guns, and cash.

Jokinen was arrested for shortly after 5:30 p.m. for possession, manufacturing, and delivery of methamphetamine, first-degree theft involving a stolen gun, two counts of felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of a weapon (knife), and parole violation.

Jokinen was lodged in the Crook County Jail. No other information on the case was disclosed by authorities due to the pending criminal charges.
