Motorcyclist killed in highway collision with Prineville driver
A Tigard man was killed after colliding with a Prineville driver in Wheeler County late Thursday morning.
According to Oregon State Police, around 11:40 a.m., a 2015 Ford F350 pulling a trailer, driven by Yancey Fall of Prineville, was traveling northbound on Highway 207 near milepost 19 when a southbound 2013 Kawasaki motorcycle, driven by 52-year-old Frank Lord Jr., lost control in a corner, and slid into the pickup and trailer.
Lord sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased. Highway 207 was closed for approximately five hours following the crash.
