Betty Counts, of Prineville, who went missing in July, found in Benewah County, Idaho

The body of a missing Prineville woman, who went missing in early July, was finally found Friday in Benewah County, Idaho

Benewah County Sheriff's Office informed the Prineville Police Department Friday that they had located 83-year-old Betty Counts. Police were told that she was found in her car at the end of an old logging road in Benawah County. Her passing did not appear suspicious, and no foul play is suspected.

Numerous leads were chased down in this case as tips came in from multiple agencies. The Prineville Police Department thanked all the citizens that provided tips, and the FBI for their assistance.

The police department stated that although this is a devastating blow to the family and a tragic ending, it is good the family can have closure in this case. The agency offered its condolences to the family for their loss.
