Get your Football Contest entries dropped off at the Central Oregonian office by Friday, Oct. 19. Find the entry forms and game picks in today's Central Oregonian on page A12. You could win a $25 gift certificate to Ericksons Thriftway for correctly picking the most winners, plus be entered to "Beat Helmet Head," where you could win a gift certificate to Subway, Prineville location only. One lucky winner will win the grand prize of $300, if they have the most correct picks throughout the 10-week contest. This week's winner for the $25 gift certificate to Meadow Lakes Golf Course & Restaurant was Richard J. Johnson, with 14 out of 20 games picked correctly. All entries that "Beat Helmet Head" were placed in a random drawing, and the winner of the gift certificate for beating Helmet Head (our mystery picker of games) was Willis Roberts. Congratulations to the winners of Week 1, and make sure you get your Week 2 entries in. For more information, contact the Central Oregonian at 541-447-6205.
