 - Joe Floyd and Sons employees smooth out the concrete for the circular pad.

Construction of the Kiwanis Splash Park took a giant step forward last week when concrete for the 40-foot pad was poured and workers began installing the terrace. SMAF did the site preparation work, Knife River supplied the concrete, and Joe Floyd and Sons did the concrete finishing work. Kiwanis Club members, Crook County Parks and Recreation District employees, the Crook County Work Crew, and community volunteer Patrick Hayworth went to work on the terraces. The splash pad should be in operation this coming summer.
