Crook County Veterans Services and Crook County Health Department host Veterans Appreciation Dinner

Crook County Veterans Services Director Shannon Dearth was elated with the amount of support and attendance at the Veterans Appreciation Dinner, held Tuesday evening at Carey Foster Hall for local veterans and their families.

Approximately 300 people attended the second annual event, which included traditional Thanksgiving fare as well as tables with resources and information for veterans.

Crook County Veterans Services and the Crook County Health Department hosted the event. Dearth thanked members of the Crook County Court and other county departments as well as several businesses and agencies that helped make the event possible.

"This truly was a community effort that served and honored over 300 veterans and their families. Thank you Prineville, thank you Crook County," Dearth said.
