Crook County High School hosting Prineville Perk from 8 to 8:30 a.m. this Friday, Feb. 15

Oregon is turning 160 on Thursday, Feb. 14, and they are having an Oregon's 160th Birthday Celebration hosted by the Oregon State Capitol this Saturday, Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Oregon State Capitol, 900 Court St. NE, in Salem, come rain or shine. There will be covered wagons on display, live costumed historic interpreters, performances by the Oregon Old Time Fiddlers Association, Original State Constitution on display, birthday cake, (while supplies last), activities for the entire family, and "Why I Love Oregon" essay exhibit

This week, Prineville Perk will be hosted by the Crook County High School and Crook County School District on Friday, Feb. 15 from 8 to 8:30 a.m. at the high school, 1100 SE Lynn Blvd. For more information on Prineville Perk, contact the Chamber of Commerce at 541-447-6304.

The Friends of the Library Book Sale will be at the Crook County Library, 175 NW Meadow Lakes Drive, this Saturday, Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Band of Brothers members are selling Veterans Pavers for placement at the Veterans Memorial at the Crook County Fairgrounds. The deadline to purchase for this year is April 11, 2019. Business After Hours will be held this Thursday, Feb. 14 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and hosted by Studio Jay, Bleu Bites and Firefly Events. It will be held at Foundry Four Coffee & Whiskey, 129 NW Fourth St.
