Mann Mortgage sponsors Chasing Charity Bingo this Wednesday to benefit Flags of Prineville

The Bowman Museum will kick off the May at the Museum Series this Thursday, May 2 at 6:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m. They invite you to come learn how Rajneeshpuram fits into western American history with "Rajneeshpuram Revisited" by Carl Abbott, Emeritus Professor of Urban Studies and Planning at Portland State University. Chasing Charity Bingo, sponsored by Mann Mortgage, will be held on Wednesday, May 1 at Ochoco Brewing Company, 380 N. Main St., from 6 to 8 p.m. Proceeds raised will benefit Flags of Prineville.

Join in on the fun for a free introduction to Zumba class at Ochoco Gym, 440 NW Madras Highway, this Saturday, May 4 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Everyone is invited, and there will be prize drawings and lots of dancing.

Saving Grace is seeking creative kids in Crook County for the Festival Coloring Contest.

Calling all creative kids! We can't wait for this summer's annual Balloons Over Bend events, and the Children's Festival return to Riverbend Park in Bend on Friday, July 26.

They are looking for children between the ages of 5 and 12 to enter their creative, original full color drawings no later than Friday, May 17. Children who submit a drawing will have a chance to win a family pack pass to the event.

Coloring contest guidelines:

Child must create an original, full-color drawing (8 inches wide by 10 inches high, portrait).

Drawing must include: balloons, families and the phrase "benefiting Saving Grace."

The awards celebration was held at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach during Radisson Hotel Group's annual Americas Business Conference. During the ceremony, awards for 12 different categories were handed out honoring excellence in employees, general managers and hotels. More than 1,200 team members attended the conference.

Carriage Place, an Enlivant community, announces a special event in the month of May. In an effort to give Prineville area seniors a true taste of life at the assisted living residence, area residents are invited to take a tour of the community and will leave with a pie.

"We want to give prospective residents and their families the opportunity to 'Taste and Tour' at our vibrant community," said Executive Director Claudine Walker. "We look forward to sharing all that Carriage Place has to offer – from our chef's favorite recipes to the beautiful surroundings that our residents call home."
