Parkinson's Resources of Oregon will be holding a free presentation by Neurologist Craigan Griffin, M.D., on "Parkinson's Disease: Basics and Beyond" this Thursday, May 30 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in Room 1868, 152 NW Fourth St., in Prineville. Robberson Ford's annual Peanut Butter Drive to Feed Kids, to stock Central Oregon food banks for the summer, continues. You have until June 3 to donate. Robberson Ford has teamed up with Ericksons Thriftway and collecting jars of peanut butter to meet a growing need during the summer months to feed hungry children. The Peanut Butter Drive is part of Ford Focus on Child Hunger, a five-state campaign in the Pacific Northwest by Ford dealers to eliminate child hunger through support of community food banks.

Crook County Foundation hosts a "What's Brewing?" free community discussion from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 29 at Meadow Lakes Golf Club, 300 SW Meadow Lakes Drive.

Prineville-Crook County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kim Daniels will present "Tourism in Crook County: What is Coming Up?" The public is welcome to join the conversation about local and regional tourism, including the big events and entertainment coming this summer. Light refreshments will be served.
