Crook County Parks and Recreation District opens the pool for the season with an ice-cream social

 - The Prineville pool opened for the season Wednesday afternoon.

More than 400 kids flocked to opening day at the Prineville swimming pool early Wednesday afternoon. Basking in the warm, abundant sunshine and celebrating the end of the school year, kids spent much of the afternoon splashing and swimming.
