The Prineville-Crook County Chamber of Commerce has launched their newly designed website, www.prinevillechamber.com.

St. Charles Foundation recently granted the Family Access Network (FAN) $10,000 to connect children and families to essential resources in Deschutes and Crook counties. It only costs $100 to provide one child with vital FAN services for the entire school year. These funds will ensure that 100 disadvantaged children and their family members living in poverty or experiencing homelessness receive basic necessities such as: food, a safe place to sleep, seasonally appropriate clothing, health care, and much more.

Lutheran Community Services Northwest and Ericksons Thriftway have teamed up with Register RoundUp during the month of June. Ask your Thriftway cashier to round up your purchase to support behavioral health services in Crook County.

Robberson Ford, in conjunction with NeighborImpact and Ford Focus on Child Hunger, held a Peanut Butter Drive at Newport Avenue Market in Bend and Ericksons Thriftway in Prineville during a campaign in May.

Robberson Ford is proud to announce a huge success of the campaign. More than eight tons of peanut butter was raised by Robberson Ford, Newport Market and Ericksons Thriftway for NeighborImpact!

"We are extremely excited with the outcome," exclaimed Jeff Robberson, president of Robberson Ford. Robberson continued, "It just shows you how giving of a community that we have here in Central Oregon. Our partners and their customers at Newport Market and Ericksons Thriftway are an integral part to this success."

Over the past four years, this program has generated an amazing amount of high grade protein for kids in our community.

This drive was part of a five-state Pacific Northwest region campaign by Ford dealers to support their community food banks and to make sure no child goes hungry over the summer.

Mission 4 Mexico will be the host of this week's Prineville Perk on Friday, June 21 from 8 to 8:30 a.m. It will be held at Room 1868. For more information on Prineville Perk, contact the Chamber of Commerce at 541-447-6304.

"Pre Rodeo Party" at the Romines will be this month's Chamber after Hours on Thursday, June 20 at 1088 NE Loper Ave. from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
