Open House Fly-In and Car Show this Saturday, Aug. 3 at the Prineville Airport

Movies in the Park – "Robin Hood" will be held this Friday, Aug. 2 at Stryker Park, 453 NE Elm St. There will be food, fun, games and music.

The fun starts at 6 p.m. with food, games and more. "Robin Hood" will start at dusk.

The Prineville Airport Open House Fly-In and Car Show will be held this Saturday, Aug. 3 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The 2019 Picnic in the Park series — brought to you by the Crook County Foundation and in partnership with local businesses — will have The Rock Bottom Boys this Wednesday, July 31, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Rock Bottom Boys play Hillbilly Soul with their Rock 'N Roll music that is light-hearted and humorous.

Kim Daniels, the executive director of the Prineville-Crook County Chamber of Commerce, will celebrating a birthday this Friday, Aug. 2. Make sure that you call her at 541-447-6304, stop by the Chamber of Commerce at 185 NE 10th St., or better yet, plan on attending this week's Prineville Perk, hosted by Prineville Counseling Center, and start her day off with a huge "Happy Birthday."

Prineville Counseling Center, 190 NW 4th St., will host this week's Prineville Perk on Friday, Aug. 2 from 8 to 8:30 a.m. For more information on Prineville Perk, contact the Chamber of Commerce at 541-447-6304.

The Family Resource Center of Central Oregon has been awarded a $75,000 grant to support parenting education. This grant is part of the Oregon Parenting Education Collaborative, a multi-year initiative supported by the Oregon Community Foundation, in partnership with the Meyer Memorial Trust, The Ford Family Foundation, The Collins Foundation and Oregon State University.
