Mann Mortgage is asking for donations of socks and canned food items for this year's Holiday Partnership

Prineville Men's Wear, 231 N Main St., will begin its Annual Open Sundays this Sunday, Dec. 1, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with savings throughout the store. They will also be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays through Dec. 22.

Dillon's Grill, Eastside Church, Prineville Counseling Center and Lutheran Community Services will hold a free Thanksgiving feast from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, at Eastside Church, 3174 NE Third St. For more information and available rides to the event, call Eastside Church at 541-447-3791.

The Annual Lighted Christmas Parade "Candy Christmas" will start at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, and travel through town on Third St.

Christmas in the Pines "Remember when you believed?" Central Oregon's Lighted Wonderland at the Crook County Fairgrounds will be open for the holiday season starting this Saturday after the Lighted Christmas Parade. it will be open from 5:30 to 9 p.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Christmas. Every Saturday, there will be a live Nativity and Santa & Mrs. Claus will be there from 6 to 8 p.m. Entry is donations of nonperishable food items for both humans and pets will be accepted, as will cash donations. The 2019 Holiday Opening of the Grimes Christmas Scene is from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29. The display will be open from 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, and Sunday, Dec. 1. Operating days and hours will vary through Dec. 24. Check the Facebook page Grimes Christmas Scene for dates and hours.

The Central Oregonian will be closed this Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29, to allow our staff to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with their families. All editorial and advertising will be operating on an early deadline: The Friday, Nov. 29, edition deadline will be noon on Tuesday, Nov. 26, and the deadline for the Tuesday, Nov. 3, edition will be noon on Wednesday, Nov. 27. The Prineville-Crook County Chamber will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29, for the Thanksgiving holiday. There will not be a Prineville Perk held on Friday, Nov. 29. The event will resume next Friday, Dec. 6.
