Chamber of Commerce-led Prineville Perk will be held Friday morning at 7th Street Dental

7th Street Dental will host this week's Prineville Perk at 302 NE 7th St. in Prineville on Friday, March 6, from 8 to 8:30 a.m. For more information on Prineville Perk, contact the Chamber of Commerce at 541-447-6304.

The 2020 Prineville Paddy Pint Run will be held on Sunday, March 15. You can sign up for early registration and pick up the packet for the run at Ochoco Brewing on Friday, March 13, and Saturday, March 14, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Costumes are encouraged, and awards will be given at the post-event block party located in downtown Prineville between Good Bike Co. and the Courthouse.

The Crook County Library, 175 NW Meadow Lakes Drive, will be offering free AARP Tax-Aide services from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following Saturdays: March 7, March 21, April 4 and April 11. Appointments are made on a drop-in basis only and are first-come, first-served.

The Family Access Network (FAN) received a $1,000 grant from the Washington Federal Foundation, which will be used to provide 10 children and family members in Central Oregon with basic-need resources such as food, housing, clothing, health care, school supplies and more.

"FAN appreciates the support of Washington Federal Foundation in our work to alleviate poverty in Central Oregon by making sure that children have the resources they need in order to thrive in school. We couldn't do it without community support like this," said Julie N. Lyche, FAN executive director.
