Crook County whipped 7-1 by Riverhawks in league tennis match
Pablo Casado was the lone winner for the Crook County Cowboys on Thursday as they hosted The Dalles Riverhawks in an Intermountain Conference tennis match.
Casado, who plays No. 1 singles for the Cowboys, blanked the Riverhawks' Andy Lopez 6-0, 6-0 to take an easy win.
The remainder of the dual was all The Dalles.
Jose Reyes defeated Garrett Bond 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, before Heyden Pasher rolled past Jeremy McCullough 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.
Sanjay Ramanathan closed out the singles matches for the Riverhawks with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Crook County's Jordon Owens.
The Riverhawks then swept all four doubles matches en route to their easy victory over the Cowboys.
Devon Patel and Ethan Martin started things rolling with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Crook County's Moses Freauff and Yuya Yamaguchi.
Quinn Wilson and James Pashek then whipped Tucker Bonner and Ben Sather 6-3, 6-1. Blake Kienlen and Sven Deruette rolled past Ty Cross and Nick Cushman 6-1, 6-3 at No. 3 doubles before Miguel Torres and Salvador Garcia closed out the day with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Kain Shockey and Tucker Standiford at No. 4 doubles.
The Cowboys close out the regular season with a rematch at The Dalles on Tuesday, beginning at 4 p.m.
The team then competes in the district tennis tournament, which will be held Friday and Saturday, May 10-11 at Redmond High School.
