The 5K and 10K races, held at the Crooked River Wetlands Complex, raised money to support the Crook County High School and Crook County Middle School cross country program, while celebrating the wetlands.

This year's race, which was held Saturday, June 1, saw 28 runners and walkers hit the trails at the wetlands under warm and sunny skies.

The 30-year-old ran away from the field, winning by more than a minute.
