Crook County High School boys soccer team drops two games with scores of 9-1 and 8-2

The Crook County Cowboy soccer team lost a pair of matches to Ridgeview this past week as the Ravens showed their dominance.

"They are very good, which showed me some of our weaknesses that we need to work on," said Crook County head coach Jonny Oelkers.

Ridgeview won Tuesday's match in Prineville 9-1, then came back and defeated the Cowboys 8-2 on the Ravens' home field this past Friday.

Kevin Sanchez scored the Cowboys' lone goal Tuesday, while Jesse Sanchez scored in the second match.

The two teams play again this Tuesday with both JV and varsity games on the docket. The games will be held at Ward Rhoden Stadium with games at 4 and 6 p.m.
