Various lesson programs are going to be offered at the Meadow Lakes Golf Course

Meadow Lakes is gearing up for league season. Mens League and the Senior League (for those 60 and over) starts April 7. Ladies League will start on May 6.

Meadow Lakes also has an extensive lesson program planned — one for men and one for women — for the spring. A series of four 60-minutes lessons is designed to "shake off winter's rust and get your game trending in the right direction for summer."

The clinics include Understanding Your Tendencies (April 15); The Importance of Short Game and the 80/20 Rule (April 22); Getting the Most Out of Your Practice (April 29); and Course Management, Maximizing Your Strengths and Minimizing Mistakes (May 6). All clinics start at 4 p.m. and the fee is $100 for all clinics, payable upon first clinic.

For the women, the clinics are Gaining Distance (April 14); Chipping Made Easy (April 21); Becoming the Putter You've Always Wanted to Be (April 28); and Course Management, Maximizing Your Strengths and Minimizing Mistakes (May 5). All start at 4 p.m. and the fee of $100 for all clinics, payable upon first clinic, pertains as well.

The course is also planning Friday Night Ladies Night Happy Hour Clinics. The Friday events run from April 16 through May 14, and include, in order, the following clinics: Green Reading 101, Fairway Woods and Hybrids, Bunker Basics, Hitting Your Irons Solid and Practice Made Fun.

The Friday clinics cost $25 each, however, they are also designed as social outings. Wine will be provided "on the house."

The club is also promoting its 2021 Meadow Lakes Lesson Club. The cost to join is $225, juniors under 18 can join for $175. The program includes five half-hour lessons covering short game, sand play, full swing and course management. It includes a $50 range cards. The deadline to sign up is April 30, and the program is limited to the first 20 individuals.
