Crook County boys drop match to the Pendleton Buckaroos; girls to Hood River Valley

The Crook County High School boys and girls soccer teams saw their seasons come to an abrupt end on Monday in the opening round of the Intermountain Conference tournament.

After tying Pendleton 1-1 at home on Saturday, the Cowboys faced off with the Buckaroos Monday and Pendleton was in control throughout as they took a 5-0 victory, ending Crook County's season.

The Cowboys finished the year with a 1-3-1 league record and a 1-7-1 overall mark, while Pendleton lost 5-0 to Hood River Valley in the conference semifinals and finished the year with a 1-3-1 league record and a 2-5-1 overall record.

Hood River Valley faced off with Ridgeview for the conference title with the Ravens coming away with a 3-2 victory.

Meanwhile, the Cowgirls lost 7-0 to Hood River Valley in the opening round of the conference girls tournament. Crook County finished the season with an 0-3 league record and an 0-6 overall mark, while Hood River Valley went on to defeat The Dalles 1-0 in the conference semifinals before falling 2-0 to Ridgeview in the championship match finished the year with a 1-0-3 league record and a 4-5-3 overall mark.
