Cooper, who finished fourth at the Intermountain Conference Girls Tennis Championships, easily won her opening round match by dispatching McKenzie Larsen of Churchill 6-1, 6-0. However, that was as far as Cooper would get in the tournament. In the quarterfinals, Cooper faced No. 2 seed Sophie Katz of Crescent Valley. Cooper gave it her best shot, but was overmatched as Katz took a 6-1, 6-0 victory eliminating Cooper from the tournament. Katz went on to finish second place overall to No. 1 seed Kennedy Harris of La Salle Prep.

Crescent Valley won the team title with 16.5 points, while La Salle Prep and North Bend tied for second with eight points and Churchill finished fourth with seven to its tally.

The two points that Cooper scored were enough for the Cowgirls to finish in a six-way tie for ninth place in the event, which was held Friday, May 20, at Portland Tennis Center and then Saturday, May 21, at the Tualatin Hills Tennis Center in Beaverton.
