CROOK COUNTY JAIL - Todd RobinsonA Prineville man was arrested and jailed Sunday night following a drunk-driving crash that caused a power outage and damaged a fence.

According to police reports, authorities responded to the crash scene on North Main Street near Northeast 13th Street shortly before 10:30 p.m. An eyewitness told police that they saw the driver of the crashed 2008 Toyota Yaris, later identified as Todd Robinson, 47, running from the scene. An investigation determined that Robinson was traveling southbound on North Main Street at unknown speeds, when he left the roadway near the intersection of Northeast 13th Street, striking a fence and power pole support wire. After further investigation, Robinson was transported to Crook County Jail, where he provided a breath sample that registered a .16 percent blood alcohol content. He was booked for driving under the influence of intoxicants, alcohol, and two counts of failure to perform the duties of a driver, a misdemeanor. His bail is set at $25,000.
