Fall Reduction Campaign
Last year, Prestige Care Senior Living raised more than $80,000 for Alzheimer research during the Walk to End Alzheimer's. Dedicated staff, residents, and families walked 100 million steps to help eradicate the disease. This year, we are hoping to raise more.
In America, alone, every 65 seconds, someone develops Alzheimer's.
"Each year, our communities host fundraisers and events to raise money for the important work led by Alzheimer's Association and other organizations to find cures for memory disorders," said Harold Delamarter, founder and CEO of Prestige Care.
In addition, we are launching a new health and wellness campaign focused on reducing falls and supporting those impacted by Alzheimer's disease. From Aug. 1 through Sept. 30, we are offering fall-risk evaluations, fall prevention education and fitness classes. The free and open-to-the-public classes will also serve as a meeting place for participants interested in this year's Walk to End Alzheimer's.
As a longtime supporter of the Alzheimer's Association's research and advocacy efforts, Team Prestige is inviting the public to join its communities in raising funds and participating in local Walks.
Join Prestige Senior Living to improve your health and support those impacted by Alzheimer's disease; together we can strengthen your muscles as well as the bonds that keep our community strong. Isn't it time to step into better health?
