Caring for a family member or a friend with varying degrees of cognitive impairment can be very challenging. It is important to know the signs that might indicate a loved one needs memory care. Below is a list of some of the signs.

-Unable to perform simple tasks

-Neglecting finances

-Unsafely exit seeking or getting lost

-Forgetting to perform daily tasks such as brushing of teeth, taking medications or eating

-Consistently losing or misplacing items

-The occurrence of more accidents or falls

-Wearing the same cloths on a consistent basis

-Generally experiencing short-term memory issues

-Calling family members and friends by the wrong name

-Hoarding of personal items

-Finding food in places such as dresser drawers

-The living conditions are inadequate

-Isolating from family members and/or friends

-A general decline of health

-Incontinence

-The caregivers of the particular individual are feeling overwhelmed
