The extra support and guidance paid off as there was a large increase in the number of seniors that participated. While many of them are still waiting to hear back about their applications, over 40 students have already been accepted into college.

"We are so proud of our students and love the excitement during application week," said Melissa Corwin, OCHS school counselor. "Completing the application process is a giant step for all of our students wanting to pursue a college education, especially those whose families have never attended."

A handful of students were awarded four years of tuition from their preferred school. Over the course of the week, there were many sighs of relief as well as many tears of joy, from both students and parents.
