Free art demonstration series begins Feb. 13 at King of Kings Lutheran Church

The North Clackamas Arts Guild will hold a series of free art demonstrations from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 13, March 13 and April 24 at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 5501 S.E. Thiessen Road.

Free workshops take place from noon to 3 p.m. February through June. See schedule below.

Artists also are invited to a Paint4fun day from 9 a.m. to noon on the second Saturday of the month at King of Kings. Artists are asked to bring their own projects and make sure that materials are safe to be used indoors.

March 13: John Halvorsen, preview of March 24 workshop

May 8: Berdell Moffit-Chain, collage


Feb. 24: Bonnie Moore, watercolor artist, will share landscape techniques

March 24: John Halverson will do a study in acrylics, focusing on nonobjective art

April 28: Berdell Moffit-Chain, secrets of collage. She will supply paper and glue

June 23: Billy Beaulieu, portrait paintings in oil or acrylics
