"Once I receive my bachelor's degree, I want to become a volunteer for the Peace Corps," she said. "After this, I would like to return to school for my master's degree, and from there work in a diplomatic position where I can make use of my knowledge of the Spanish language."

Her achievements include honor roll, Phi Theta Kappa and the Stein Oil Scholarship.
