The victim told police the assailant was a skinny Hispanic man with short hair.

One person was injured in a Thursday night shooting at a Gladstone grocery store.

Gladstone police said the shooting happened at about 9:52 p.m. July 5, at the Safeway store on 82nd Drive. Officers found one person with a small wound to the face who was taken to Oregon Health and Science University Hospital with what police said were non-life threating injuries.

The victim's name has not been released.

A gun was found nearby. No suspect was found during a check of the area.

The victim told police the assailant was a skinny Hispanic man with short hair. A green sedan, possibly a 1980s or early 1990s Ford Taurus, left the area about the time of the shooting, police said.
