Teen survives 60-foot fall down Happy Valley embankment
A 14-year-old boy was transported to the hospital by helicopter Sept. 5 after he fell down a 60-foot embankment and landed on some rocks in Happy Valley.
The boy, who wasn't identified, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The boy reportedly fell at about 6:35 p.m. near Southeast 152nd Drive and Ranger Drive.
In order to get to where the boy had fallen, crews had to hike a quarter mile. Once they arrived, they placed him on a backboard to carry him where a helicopter could pick him up.
