Rotary donates to Gladstone Center; Help kids with job interviews in North Clackamas

The Gladstone/Oak Lodge Rotary Club donated $1,000 to the kindergarten at the Gladstone Center for Children and Families. The funds will provide sets of books each month to help children learn to read.

Community members interested in joining may attend any meeting. The group meets at noon Thursdays in the Gladstone Senior Center.

Help kids with job interviews

Volunteers are needed to conduct mock job interviews Nov. 14, 15, 29 and 30 at Milwaukie, Clackamas and Rex Putnam high schools.

Volunteer for multiple shifts/days if you can to help students prepare for job interviews, or choose the one or two that work best for you. Parent/guardian volunteers welcome. Invite a few friends or colleagues, and register at
