MAP-IT plans officer elections, update on Metro grant Jan. 15
McLoughlin Area Plan Implementation Team members are strongly encouraging community members interested in sitting on a MAP subcommittee working on top 2019 priorities to attend MAP-IT's meeting next week.
MAP-IT will meet 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the Oak Lodge Water Services District Technical Service offices, 14611 S.E. River Road.
The meeting will include the MAP Implementation Team officer elections, organizing the Implementation Team into working subcommittees for 2019, and an update of the 2017 Metro 2040 grant by the project management team.
The MAP-Implementation Team subcommittees will focus on safer pedestrian and biking access to schools, businesses and transit; improving the natural environment and increasing parks; improving the appearance, safety and success of McLoughlin Boulevard; and outreach and developing a calendar of events that cultivate community.
